sweet virginia


Sometimes months fly by before I realize that I've forgotten what it feels like to step foot outside northwest D.C. So when most of the city cleared out for Memorial Day Weekend, it seemed like the perfect time for a daytrip we've been longing to take. After driving for about an hour and a half, we hit the tiny town of Front Royal, VA, the portal to Shenandoah National Park. From there, we began our journey along Skyline Drive.
